Typical Phase 1: Definition

  • Meet with stake holders to understand project scope and key milestones.
  • View flats and/ detail drawings, Designer bill of material (BOM) for completeness and ask questions to clarify grey areas.
  • Create target time and action calendar that incorporates key milestones.
  • Set target costing

We are able to review flats and 3D model drawing for completeness and accuracy and ask questions to fill in the blanks to ensure quicker turn time and better counter samples from suppliers.

Typical Phase 2: Selection

  • Identify 2-3 prospective full package suppliers for the project
  • Send package and request for quote (RFQ)
  • Receive prices quotes from prospective suppliers with counter samples, strike offs, material/finish counter samples and signed time and action calendar (or deviations)
  • Review all design for manufacturing (DFM) suggestions with design, receive, and send updated art to suppliers
  • Review and revert to supplies with questions and negotiate costing
  • Review costing, counter samples, strike offs, material/finish counter samples with stakeholders
  • Make supplier selection and communicate comments to suppliers

We are fully versed on sourcing and bringing on board new suppliers.  Understanding your front and back end requirements we can facilitate all negotiations including non-disclosure agreement (NDA), terms, minimums, and costing.

Typical Phase 3: Implementation

  • Work with supplier until all details are approved and extended to size range as needed; including any compliance and/or performance testing requirements
  • Issue PO and create work in process (WIP)
  • Track WIP

Typical Phase 4: Continual Improvement

  • Review top of production (TOP) or shipment sample; authorized supplier to ship
  • Work with freight forwarder (FF) to prepare for shipment
  • Track shipment with FF to designated port and warehouse location
  • Review bulk against top of production TOP or shipment sample to verify all is correct.
